Boss of Lunch (Junie B.Jones series) by Barbara Park

Junie B. is about a little girl that is in first grade and acts like a kindergartner A LOT.In the story she gets a new lunch box and how exiting is that for Junie B!She just can't wait to open it at lunch. So while she is at school she gets in trouble by her teacher Mr.Scary for the second time. Finally it's lunch time so she eats her lunch and everyone else is having a hoagie for lunch from their BOUGHT lunch instead of their BROUGHT lunch. And then she is done before everyone and her best friend Herb has a sugar cookie on his tray and Junie B. just HAS to have it and she asked him and he said yes and breaks it in half so she eats the half cookie and it reminds her of a special person that was the snack lady from kindergarden last year and her name is Mrs.Gutzman and she asks if everyone remembers her and almost everyone remembers her and all her friends say that she works right in the cafiteria so Junie B. jumps up and goes right in the cafiteria and yells MRS. GUTZMAN!MRS.GLADYS GUTZMAN!WHERE ARE YOU!IT'S ME!And guess who comes out?Ofcourse Mrs.Gutzman.In the end of the book we learn that everyone makes mistakes and you don't always get yelled at in the mistakes you make and you sometimes get another chance.

What I like about the book is that Junie B. is funny like when a little girl says something funny but they don't know it's funny and don't understand why everyone is laughing at her like Junie B. says that she is good with sponges because she was once practicing for the carnival and threw sponges in her toilet.

Lunch Walks Among Us (Franny K. Stein series), by Jim Benton.

Franny K. Stein is a little girl that is a mad scientist and can't help doing an experiment everyday. In this story Franny has no friends and is very sad when she goes to school because all the other kids are scared of her because she is quite different then them like she doesn't play with dolls like the other girls in her class, and at lunch everyone brings a sandwich but Franny brings crab ravioli in pumpkin sauce. Since everyone is scared of her she makes a experiment and drinks it and turns into a pretty little girl. And in the end she learns that it doesn't matter what your personality is you can still make friends.

What I like about the book is that I'm a person that likes what Franny likes,I am like Franny because I'm a person that likes science and likes gross stuff and likes skulls and squishy things, so that's why a person like me would like the book. She does some experiments and makes a doll named Chompolina and Oozette. Chompolina was a doll that would chomp other doll's heads off,Oozette was a doll that when you hug her she would gush out sticky gunk!! I read the whole series so if you like this book you'll like the series!!!

Bossy Steven (Sweet Valley Kids series) by Francine Pascal

This story is about two girls and a boy and their names are Elizabeth, and Jessica, and Steven the two girls Elizabeth and Jessica are identical and they have a bigger brother Steven. Elizabeth and Jessica look alike on the outside but they aren't alike in the inside. Elizabeth likes green and likes school and would play adventure or practice soccer outside, but Jessica likes pink and likes sharing secrets and likes recess and likes playing with her dolls and stuffed animals inside.Jessica and Elizabeth make a bet with their big brother Steven and then the bet is off.The bet that they make is if Steven wins a science fair the twins will have to do his chores for a week, but after a couple days the twins make another bet where their father has a birthday coming up and they tell Steven that they will make a birthday cake and he will too, and if their cake is better then the first bet is off.

I liked that the book has the bet and that Steven is bossy, and that it's suspenseful because I didn't know who was going to win the bet and it mattered who one the bet because I don't like Steven and because the twins would not be so bossy if they won.

Smarter than Squirrels (Down Girl and Sit series), by Lucy Nolan

Down Girl and Sit are two dogs that aren't that smart. Down Girl is the main character in the story and her neighbor Sit is allot like Down Girl in a way. Their names aren't really Down Girl and Sit they just think that. Their real names are Happy for Down Girl and Dot for Sit. They are trying to save the world from squirrels and birds because they don't understand much. They think squirrels are evil and cats too. They really like donuts and get after them allot.

What I like about the story is that they tell exactly whats happening it tells every second of the day. It tells what dogs from the real world would do like it says that Down Girl got soooo exited that she backed up in some spoiled tomatoes, the dogs chased a cat up in the tree, and the dog took a WHOLE bag of donuts off a table.

Ramona Forever, by Beverly Cleary

Ramona Forever is a story of a little girl whose Aunt gets married. So Ramona's family is very busy and there's lots of work to do!! Except that Ramona's friend's uncle is getting married with her aunt so her friend is now her cousin! I like this book because Ramona tries to save the day and guess what!!She does save the day!!!!!

What I liked about the book was that in the book the wedding was planned just like it would be planned in the real world. What I did not like about the book was that Uncle Hobart {the one whose getting married to Ramona's aunt} teases Ramona too much.

Ramona the Brave by Beverly Cleary

Ramona the Brave is a book about a little girl who always has a little adventure in her life. Her name is Ramona and she has a mother and father and a bossy sister her mother and father you can just call Mr. and Mrs.Quimby. Her bossy sisters name is Beatrice, but everyone likes to call her beezus because Ramona couldn't say Beatrice so instead she said beezus when she was younger. Ramona's Family is going to have a big thing coming up where they are going to have a new room built in their house. She gets a new room in her house and she is very exited because she gets it for 6 months when Beatrice is usually the one who gets everything first. The book is called Ramona the BRAVE because she is BRAVE.

What I like about the book is that the book told exactly what Ramona was thinking. Ramona thought she might have to hide in the girls bathroom until school was out because she would get yelled at by her teacher because she stayed in for recess without pirmission. And Ramona likes to think that shes fearless and brave because she had to face a german shepard. And she thinks that Beatrice gets everything she wants.

Karen's Witch (Babysitter's Club series), by Ann M. Martin

Karen's Witch is about a little girl that thinks her neighbor is a witch, because her neighbor (Morbidda Destiny or Mrs.Porter) plants herbs and wears long black robes. Karen is young and her parents are divorced and Mrs.Porter lives next door to her dad's house and she loves going there and she just talks about witches and all the other magical things but no one believes her. So one night she sees a witch come out of her house on a broom! So she tells her friend and she comes over. They are spying on Mrs. Porter and they hear her say to her black cat "twelve o' clock" so the next day Karen sees lots of people come over and she runs over to her friends house and they go to Mrs. Porter's house quietly and shout "WERE COMING TO GET ALL YOU WITCHES OUT OF HERE!!!" And guess what happened next?

What I just love about this book is that it scares you just a little bit because you don't know if Karen's going to get in trouble or if Mrs. Porter is actually a Witch!
